Who would have believed it?  An anti-war protest that was well attended, in the heart of The State of Bush?  Yes, friends and neighbors, I speak the truth.  I would have to say that our little peace rally, in the giant city of Dallas, was a real success.

My son, who is 19 years old, just completed Basic Training by the skin of his teeth.  Part of me was rooting for him to fail, thereby keeping him away from Iraq.  Part of me was rooting for him to succeed, because he needs the success in his life right now.  All of me was appalled by what I saw and heard when I went to his Basic Training Graduation.
